Business Analyst
We are currently seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our expanding team in Greenwood Village, CO. This position reports to: Vice President of Operations
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Typical duties/responsibilities include:
- Deploy .NET Web Applications hosted on IIS, SQL Server, and Azure Cloud Services
- SQL Server Administration (Database Maintenance, SQL Agent Jobs, Always On High Availability Groups)
- Deploy SQL Server packages and custom scripts
- Develop and maintain software tools that build, deploy, and automate code management throughout the software delivery process
- Facilitate release management efforts with the software development team
- Support Windows Server and SQL Server infrastructure hosted in Microsoft Azure
- Support existing Azure subscriptions as well as onboarding new customer subscriptions
- Support Active Directory, DNS, IIS, and infrastructure monitoring tools
- Evaluate web applications deployed into production, making recommendations to improve security, scalability, performance, and availability
- Build and deliver the technology, automation, and processes to create and maintain production-quality solutions
- Perform security, vulnerability, and risk assessment of web application infrastructure deployed to Microsoft Azure
- Participate in on-call, production, and application operations and support activities
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience on a software development, DevOps, or similar IT team
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience with Microsoft’s Azure platform
- Experience with software development collaboration tools (Azure DevOps preferred)
- Experience with Git
- Strong desire to work with latest and greatest Microsoft technologies
- Working knowledge of Windows Server 2012 through Windows Server 2022
- Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, and Hyper-V
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft or similar Professional Certifications
- Experience with packaging and deploying software
- Experience developing software with the .NET Framework
- Experience with enterprise customer support in highly available, 24x7x365 production environments
- Strong PowerShell scripting ability
- Strong knowledge of current technology trends
- Working knowledge and experience with monitoring and log aggregation tools like Datadog, Azure Monitor, Splunk, or similar
- Experience with Azure App Services and Azure SQL Database
- Fundamental networking knowledge: TCP/IP, IP Tables, routing with working knowledge of routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs
Required Education
- Bachelor’s degree in technical/engineering or related studies

Benefits
- Salary Range: $85,000 – $130,000. Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience and qualifications.
